The bump2baby Team

Sally – Antenatal Educator and Hypnobirthing Practitioner

Sally took ownership of Bump2baby Reality in 2022.

Sally is both a former NHS Midwife and a former NHS Health Visitor. She qualified from Leeds University as a Midwife in 2002 and worked for three years at Birmingham Women’s Hospital. Sally then undertook her Specialist Community Public Health Practitioner training at University of Central England, qualifying as a Health Visitor in 2006.

Helen – Founder of Bump2baby Reality

Helen founded Bump2baby Reality in 2014. Helen is a former General Registered Nurse, Antenatal and Hypnobirthing Practitioner, and an Infant feeding Practitioner with Mother & Baby International. Helen was actively involved at Coventry University with student midwives and Warwick Hospital sitting on various maternity forums.

Although no longer teaching, Helen remains a valued member of our team, working with us as a volunteer, continuing her passion for supporting expectant and new families.

Helen Wright

Helen – Lactation Consultant

Helen qualified as a midwife in 2001, and as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant in 2007 (IBCLC).

Helen is passionate about supporting mums and their babies with their choice of infant feeding. She has considerable experience in assisting with breastfeeding related issues, as well as weaning, returning to work and safe bottle feeding.

Lin Griffiths

Lin – Infant Feeding Supporter

Lin has a wealth of previous NHS healthcare experience to bring to our team! Having worked as a nurse, a midwife, then specialising in the care of preterm babies in NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care) Lin went on to become a Health Visitor in South Warwickshire.
Infant feeding has always been a passion so Lin was happy to become an Infant Feeding support volunteer for South Warwickshire NHS when she retired in 2018, and then to join the Bump2baby Reality team.

Deborah Thomas

Deborah –  Women’s Health Physiotherapist

Deborah qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2000 . During her NHS career, she gained a wealth of experience in key areas of orthopaedics, outpatients, women’s health, rheumatology, and respiratory specialities. In addition, she has worked in the NHS as a research physiotherapist within the mental health service.

Jane – Specialist Children’s Physiotherapist and Infant Massage Instructor

Jane qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2004 from Coventry University.  During her 20-year NHS career working for South Warwickshire Foundation Trust she has gained a wealth of experience in key areas of children’s physical development, orthopaedics, neurology, respiratory, prematurity and hydrotherapy. Jane has worked alongside hospital and community health professionals, Paediatrician’s and teachers as well as being a clinical educator for the trust supporting Coventry University students. Jane specialises in the physiotherapeutic and holistic management of babies and children with developmental conditions.

Victoria Webb

Victoria – Placenta Remedies Specialist

Victoria is a Placenta Remedies Specialist, having trained with IPEN and a member of the Placenta Remedies Network, she is the most experienced and longest established Specialist in the Midlands. Victoria is passionate about women benefiting from their placenta post-birth to support their recovery naturally.

Philippa AKA Chief

Philippa is our chief helper every Wednesday for coffee mornings at Leek Wootton Hall. Philippa looks after us all and is a valuable pair of hands ensuring all our parents can sit, relax and chat whilst enjoying drinks and biscuits. Philippa enjoys meeting expectant and new parents and cuddling their gorgeous babies.
