Helen – Antenatal Educator & Hypnobirthing Practitioner

Networker of the Year 2018 Business Award Winner 

Helen qualified as an antenatal educator in 2010 and continued to gain further qualifications as an Active Birth Educator with Janet Balaskas, Infant Feeding Practitioner with Mother & Baby International and as a hypnobirthing practitioner with KG Hypnobirthing and is a member of the Hypnobirthing Association.

Lynn trained as an Antenatal Educator in 2013 and has been passionate about all things pregnancy and baby ever since with a special interest in pregnancy movement, exercise and relaxation techniques.

Kate Smith

Kate – Antenatal Educator

Kate’s background is in Midwifery and Health Visiting and she has worked in a number of locations across Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire. Although no longer practicing as a Midwife or Health Visitor, Kate remains committed to working with parents, children and families along their parenting journey and to this end has developed a passion for baby massage.

Andrea – Antenatal Educator

Andrea joins our team with a wealth of experience as a highly trained nurse, midwife and birth educator. Her skills are gathered from experiencing a huge diversity in cultures, approaches to pregnancy and childbirth from working both here and overseas. Andrea completed her general nurse training in the UK in 1985 and after several years in a variety of clinical areas then moved overseas to spend nearly 10 years in Australia.

Teresa Chambers Infant Feeding Specialist

Teresa Chambers – Infant Feeding Specialist

Regardless of your feeding preference, Teresa is passionate about supporting families with an evidence-based, friendly and professional approach to feeding their baby. Teresa’s key priority is to support your wishes in a timely manner, to minimise disruption and distress. If tongue-tie is identified as a cause or contributor to feeding difficulties, speed of treatment with an experienced clinician is important.

Dr Samantha Lowry  – Chartered Clinical Psychologist

Sam is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the British Psychological Society (BPS).  Over the last eleven years she has worked in many different psychological teams, both within the NHS and in charitable organisations.  Sam has extensive experience working in NHS mental health services with a wide range of difficulties and presentations.

Rebecca – Cognitive Behavioural Therapist

Rebecca has worked in the NHS for the last 20 years, initially as an Occupational Therapist, specialising in adult mental health and for the last 10 years as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT). Rebecca is a fully accredited therapist with ‘The British Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Psychotherapists’ (BABCP) and specialises in treating depression and anxiety disorders and has lectured in CBT at De Montford University.

Victoria – Placenta Remedies Specialist

Victoria is a Placenta Remedies Specialist, having trained with IPEN and a member of the Placenta Remedies Network, she is the most experienced and longest established Specialist in the Midlands. Victoria is passionate about women benefiting from their placenta post-birth to support their recovery naturally.

Jenny Content

Jenny – Contentment Sleep Coach

Jenny has an OCN Level 4 Sleep Training qualification and is a member of the British Sleep Society. She has a BSc (Hons) in Human Psychology and is an ILM Level 7 qualified Executive Coach and Leadership Mentor.   Jenny favours using gentle sleep techniques which take longer to embed, resulting in sustainable habit change.

Julia – Mother & Baby Yoga Instructor

Since having her own children, Julia found yoga a beautiful way to connect with them and have fun together.  After working as a primary school teacher for 16 years, Julia made the decision to train to be a children’s yoga teacher.  She has trained with Rainbow Kids Yoga, Mini Me Yoga, and All Generations Yoga and Pilates.

James – Facilitates Men Only Sessions

James has joined the team to support fellow dads in the transition to parenthood. Prior to the arrival of his son, James attended (along with his wife, Isabelle) the Bump2baby Reality Early Pregnancy Class, Antenatal and Baby First Aid courses, to prepare for becoming a first time father.

Sid – Facilitates Men Only Sessions

Sid is married to Hannah, and is dad to two girls born in 2014 and 2016. He works as an engineer by day and plays in a band for fun at the weekends. Living in a village near Ruby Sid will be facilitating the Men Only Sessions in Rugby. Sid attended the Bump2baby Reality antenatal course with Hannah before the birth of their first daughter and rejoined whilst expecting baby number 2.

Phillipa AKA Chief

Phillipa is our chief helper every Wednesday for coffee mornings at Leek Wootton Hall. Phillipa is our valuable pair of hands ensuring all our mums can sit, relax and chat whilst enjoying drinks and biscuits. Phillipa enjoys meeting expectant and new parents and cuddling their gorgeous babies.

Jackie – Coffee Morning Volunteer

Jackie has joined the Bump2Baby Reality team recently after helping to organise one of our charity events. She joins us at the coffee mornings at Leek Wootton Village Hall on Wednesdays, making drinks and lending a friendly ear to expectant and new mums and dads. She also sneaks in a baby cuddle now and again!
