Feel more confident when your child needs you most
When a child is choking, struggling to breathe or suddenly becoming unwell, it can be hard to know what to do. You deserve more than a list of instructions. You deserve practical training that helps you recognise what’s happening and take action.
I’m Kim, a registered paramedic and Advanced Clinical Practitioner. After many years working as a paramedic, I completed a Master’s in Advanced Clinical Practice and have spent eight years working in GP surgery’s. I bring that real-world experience into every course, teaching parents in clear, reassuring language and giving you time to practice and ask the questions that matter to your family.
I facilitate mini-sessions for new and expectant parents about aspects of first aid such as choking, rashes, and Basic Life Support at the Bump2baby Reality coffee morning. Keep an eye on our social media pages for when I will be there and what the session will involve.
I also provide private First Aid courses through Resilience Health Solutions. The Basic Life Support Course teaches you how to respond in those critical first moments learning CPR (CardioPulmonary Resuscitation), and what to do when a child is choking, if they are having a severe allergic reaction, and AED usage (Automatic External Defibrillator).
The “When to Worry” course helps you make sense of common childhood illnesses, minor injuries, recognise signs that need medical attention and feel more confident about what to do next. Essential for any new parent and those caring for your child.
You cannot plan when your child will need help. You can prepare for how you’ll respond.
Book your place today and leave with practical skills you can use when they matter most.
