After qualifying as a Midwife in 2009, Kate worked at both the John Radcliffe and the Horton Hospital in Oxfordshire, providing care and support to women and their families during their antenatal, labour, birth and postnatal journeys. Kate then went on to complete a Specialist Community Public Health Nursing Diploma to qualify as a Health Visitor in 2012. This experience provided a greater understanding as to the wide range of factors that can impact and influence upon individuals as they become parents.
In 2016 Kate qualified as a Certified Infant Massage Instructor with the International Association of Infant Massage as is looking forward to facilitating massage courses with Bump2baby Reality in the not to distant future!
Kate is mummy to Charlie, aged 4 and Imogen, three months, so just about getting to grips with having two little ones to run around after!
Although no longer practicing as a Health Visitor or Midwife, Kate is passionate about using her knowledge and experiences to support women and their partners to make informed decisions and choices as they embark on their parenting journey.
Kate is currently on Maternity Leave.
